Trailer: The Five-Year Engagement
Directed by Nicholas Stoller, written by Jason Segel and Stoller, produced by Judd Apatow, starring Jason Segel, Emily Blunt, Chris Pratt, Alison Brie, and Mindy Kaling.
Definitely, definitely seeing this. I love the entire cast!
I just had one of my best ideas of all time: To watch The Young Victoria on the day of her 4th great grandson’s wedding. Original, I know. But I’m pretty sure it’s also genius. (And because I’ve seen it so many times, I can study too! Multitasking!)
Oh, also, they played the trailer for The Adjustment Bureau before the movie. I know I’m pretty likely to see any movie Emily Blunt is in, but it looked pretty good! Farfetched, sure, but that’s not always a bad thing.
Katy went to Windsor Castle the other day and found some Victoria and Albert Christmas ornaments, which she says are pretty awesome. While I’m sure that’s true, and I definitely want them, I think they should also sell some of Rupert Friend and Emily Blunt. I would definitely put those on my tree!
Just got back from seeing this.
Absolutely loved it.
I love The Young Victoria, and I’m so happy Emily Blunt was recognized for her role. This movie is finally playing in Seattle now, so I’m going to have to see it again ASAP!

So, I’m pretty jealous of Emily Blunt, but…they’re super cute together.
Victoria: I’m so sorry. I thought I was going to lose you.
Albert: I don’t think it was a very good shot.
Victoria: Why did you do it? You’re so stupid. Why did you do it?
Albert: I had two very good reasons. First, I am replaceable and you are not.
Victoria: You are not replaceable to me!
Albert: Second, you’re the only wife I’ve got and ever will have. You are my whole existence, and I will love you until my last breath.
Okay, that’s the last one, I promise. I love this movie…
Victoria: I’m sure you’re aware why I’ve wished you to come here. Because it would make me happier than anything—too happy, really—if you would agree to what I wish.
Albert: And stay with you.
Victoria: And stay with me.
Albert: And marry you.
Victoria: And marry me.
Whenever I get another dog, I am absolutely naming him Dash, like the King Charles Spaniel in The Young Victoria. (Also, then I will have had pets with names from the first 5 letters of the alphabet: Ariel, Buddy, Charley, Dash, and Ellie.)
While we were staying at Katy’s house in Windsor we watched The Young Victoria, and I’ve been anxious to see it again ever since. Unfortunately, it doesn’t come out (in theaters) in the U.S. until December, so…I’m resorting to other means to watch it today. But it’s not like I’m not going to buy it the day it’s finally available!
