Looking Back at 2010 Goals
My big goal for the year was to read to read a lot:
My realistic goal is to finish 25 books, at least 5 of which are “classics,” but really I want to try to average one book per week.
I didn’t make it to 52, but I did finish 39, of which six were classics.
I also wrote a list of condo projects I wanted to get done during the year, but I didn’t do too well with them:

(Not Quite) 52 Books in 52 Weeks
Well, I didn’t make it. In fact, I reached a point when I kind of stopped trying. But I did finish significantly more than the 16 I read in 2009, and achieved my initial goal of 25 books. The links below go to my quick reviews for each.
Both Ways is the Only Way I Want It by Maile Meloy (Jan. 1)
Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami (Jan. 16)
City of Thieves by David Benioff (Jan. 22)

I've been working on my genealogy website →
Sometimes I feel like a modern detective when I’m researching my family tree exclusively from online sources.
Best find of the week: We have a Ralph Parker in the family, and he was even from Indiana, like Ralphie in A Christmas Story. He was my great grand uncle.
I also confirmed that my 2nd great grandmother was married a third time before she died, officially giving her the longest name...

It seems kind of like Tumblr, but you create boards with different themes. Like I have one for photos, another for fashion, and—of course—one for fox stuff.
If you want an invite, I think I can send them. Leave your e-mail address in the comments or replies.

FYI
I’m not doing the 25 Days of Christmas Songs anymore. I couldn’t tell if anyone was listening/downloading because the majority have zero listens, and it seemed like a waste of time. I’ll probably post more songs at some point, but not one each day.
